If there's one thing I've learned, it's that I'm only successful when I'm working with hungry, like-minded trailblazers.
I've shared the stage with the likes of Bill Nye, Mike Rowe, Jesse McCartney, and gave my first TED talk shortly after becoming 1st Runner Up to Miss America.
I received classical ballet training under Alonzo King and later graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor's in human biology and master's in media studies. I produced video journalism shorts for the Peninsula Press and also wrote a master's thesis under the guidance of my advisor Jeremy Bailenson, founder of Stanford University's virtual reality lab.
I believe anything is possible with the right proportions of time, resources, and passion.
I'm currently working on a video series that uses food to find deeper ways to explain the immigrant experience in the United States.
My mom taught me a well-known Chinese proverb, "台上一分鈡，台下十年功" which means "every minute on stage is earned through ten years of training." Yeah, I had a Tiger Mother 🐯.
I love to collaborate with other makers and doers. If you foresee us working together on a project or event, please reach out! I’d love to connect about potential opportunities and explore how we can help each other.
